For Jacob, the flier offered an opportunity for couples to volunteer to test out a new strength serum. Jacob, a scrawny nerd, saw this as his opportunity to finally shed his frailty and get noticed by one of his housemates, Emily. And since he needed a woman to volunteer with him, why not ask Emily to come with him? They could get buff together, and she’d be right there to admire his new muscles.
Sarah had been in a steady relationship with Mike for over a year. Both gym rats, they had bodies to die for and people always noticed their well-developed physiques. She craved more, though – Sarah had always wanted to slide the big plates on the bar and lift it effortlessly overhead like Mike and the other jacked gym bros. Could this be her opportunity? She knew Mike would sign on – any shortcut to get bigger and stronger was OK by him – and if her muscles got so big that he didn’t find her so attractive anymore, well, there were plenty of fish in the sea.
